On October 20th, the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering held a symposium for international students in Conference Room 4403, aiming to strengthen communication between teachers and students and promote exchanges between them. Vice Dean Lu Jie of the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, the faculty team responsible for international exchange work in the Department of Pharmaceutical Engineering, and international student mentors gathered together to have in-depth exchanges with international students.
Lu Jie, on behalf of the college, warmly welcomed the arrival of international students. He emphasized that the college attaches great importance to the cultivation and development of international students, and hopes that through this symposium, a more direct and effective communication bridge can be built between the college and international students, timely understanding of their needs and difficulties in learning, life, and other aspects, and creating a better learning and living environment for them.
International students enthusiastically spoke up, sharing their learning and life experiences, as well as expressing their doubts and thoughts. In response to the questions and suggestions raised by international students, mentors have provided practical and feasible solutions and suggestions. They stated that they will further strengthen communication and exchange with international students, pay attention to the growth and development of each international student, and provide them with more personalized guidance and assistance. At the same time, the college will also carefully sort out the opinions and suggestions put forward by international students, continuously improve related work, and enhance the quality of international student training.
